GNLD, a 60-year-old direct sell company, refocused it's extensive nutritional line of products to the NeoLife sub-brand.
The goal was not to throw out any of the rich history or validated science, but rather, give the sense of a 60-year old startup that is refreshing, exciting and trustworthy.

Role: Collaborative Art Direction, packaging design, photo composites, photo illustration
The new design needed to convey "whole-food sourced with solid scientific underpinnings". One challenge was to correctly identify or modify whole-food imagery to reflect the exact species of fruit and vegetable ingredients. The other challenge was to adhere to FDA supplement packaging standards for type size and color. These obstacles were overcome by daily collaboration with experts in the field of nutrition science, food technology and legal criterion. Ultimately, the new labeling honors the brand name, but allows for the product's whole-food sourced, scientifically backed nutritionals to speak boldly, "Based in Nature, Backed by Science."
