The Problem: MicroDental Laboratories plays a crucial role in the dental care sector— manufacturing and providing custom-made dental prosthetics and appliances to patients via dental offices. Despite being a critical segment of the dental industry, the domestic industry felt increased competitiveness from offshore manufacturers, rising costs of materials and domestic labor, and technological advances in 3D-printing. MicroDental understood to stay competitive they must leverage their 50 years of trust with existing customers while reintroducing their core value that Smiles Matter™ to increase customer awareness and loyalty.
The solution: I partnered with the Director of Marketing and CEO to fulfill campaign goals for innovative product launches within the digital dentistry space, using digital marketing such as email blasts, social media carousels and short form video, as well as launching and maintaining a podcast. Our effort recorded an increase in event registrations and attendance by 150%, boosted awareness and conversion by 15%, and retention by 10%, despite the 2-month closures of dental offices due to COVID-19.
